This was one of my favorite cities in Mexico. The downtown area is small so you can walk everywhere. The colonial architecture and cobble streets give you a nice feeling. There are some bars with a a small nightlife that is just right.

Blue Bicycle House
Stay at Blue Bicycle House, this place is nice, clean, quiet, and has a beautiful terrace where you can chat with other travelers and look out over the city.
