Teotihuacan, Mexico

Teotihuacan
Some of the best pyramids and Aztec ruins located just outside of Mexico City. Just hop on a public bus and you're there.

(Great company at the Pyramids)

(Pyramid of the Sun)

(Pyramid of the Moon)

(Some Aztec remains)

(Nice to have live music on the bus ride there)

(I learned what Conejo meant, then later that day I ate Conejo Enchiladas)

Mexico City, Mexico

From the moment I got off the plane, Jimena and Nora took me straight to the bar where we indulged in Mexican tequila, mariachi, and of course authentic food.

(Giant Mexican flag)

(Delicious tacos all for about 1usd)

(Mariachi!)

(ordering all sorts of strange tacos)

(Escorpion!)

Museums
Tons of interesting history here in Mexico

Churches and Monuments

(Protesting the government)

Below is the most famous Church in all of Mexico
(Basilica de Santa Maria de Guadalupe)

(John Paul the 2nd)

Food and Friends

(Chimichangas)

(Home made mole)

My awesome Mexican family!
(yup, we are at a sushi restaurant)

(Made burgers american style for the family)

(View flying over Mexico)

Bernal, Mexico

Bernal
Bernal is a cute little town perfect for a day trip.
The view of La Peña de Bernal which towers over the town is breathtaking.
If you aren't satisfied walking around eating delicious food all day, hike up La Peña de Bernal, one of the tallest monoliths in the world. If that isn't enough adventure, climb one the challenging multi-pitch routes all the way to the top.

(Bernal is famous for its Gorditas!)

(Climbing my first multi-pitch ever!)

(From the top)

(I guess Alfredo has squirrel friends up here)

(super refreshing drink at the bottom)

(What are the odds I find a Yankee's hat at the top of the monolith)
