Kuta is the party capital of Indonesia. While almost everyone will agree that Kuta is very trashy and many people get out of their mind drunk and hook up with strangers, there are still some positives. Partying in Kuta is a blast, Alley Cats is a great place to grab an amazing dinner and the party will form around you. With each drink the crowd in Alley Cats grows another 20 people until you can hardly move and the crowd overflows into the alleyway. After making new friends here around midnight everyone pours out onto the main street full of night clubs. Eikon seems to be the best for dancing the night away. 

Skygarden 

This place is also a cool place to get dinner before a night out. from 5-6pm they have free beer and then from 6-9pm there is an all you can eat buffet for only 50,000 Rupia (5USD) The buffet is really good and then they usually give you a free drink at 9pm. After this I usually head to Alley Cats since this place turns into a 6 story mega-club with a vibe that I'm not crazy about.

I was told that this energy drink in the form of powder is the equivilant of taking about 6 red bulls. Dump it in your shot to have a crazy night!

One thing you can do when your not recovering from a hang over is go surfing! Surfing in Bali is pretty good for beginners and cheap too. This was my main pass-time when I wasn't partying.
