It is hard to pinpoint why exactly Japan is so amazing, but I would say it could be summed up by the unique culture! Japanese people are extremely polite and friendly. They will not only give you directions but walk with you to where you need to go and make sure you got there. They won't even walk in front of you while you're looking at a grocery store shelf without being extremely apologetic. Body language is huge and can be easily compared to Japanese animation. The main attraction here is the eating and drinking scene with tons of unique experiences revolving around these activities. From standing bars and noodle shops to being served by a maid at a maid cafe there are no shortage of wacky ways to eat and drink. Another aspect of Japanese culture is the technology creating convenience, organization, and cleanliness, giving you a laugh at how creative they get to achieve these goals. Japanese are also very respectful of the rules as you will sometimes see someone wait at a do not walk sign for a few minutes even at a small intersection with no cars coming. While I could go on and on about Japanese culture I will only show glimpses through these photos but to only truly understand you must take a trip here sometime in your life!
Bathrooms!
The first thing I noticed having come from almost directly from southeast asia was the super bathrooms which are the best I have seen in my life.
(Toilette remote has more buttons than TV remote with heater, music, butt shower, and butt dryer)
(This sink dispenses warm soapy water on the left side, perfect temperature water in the middle and then dries your hands on the right side allowing you to stand in one place and not touch anything through the entire process!)
(Southeast Asia style is on the left but not allowed in Japan)
(Board to stand on while changing your clothes)
(So clean even with seat cleaners)
