Pai

A chill village in the mountains of Northern Thailand located a three hour drive from Chiang Mai. What is there to do in Pai?
How about the bumping walking street

Drive around the outskirts of Pai and take in the scenery

Visit the many hot springs, choose between hot enough to boil an egg, spa style, or luke warm natural style. below is the egg boiling hot spring.

Drive around town. beware of the scary bouncy make shift bamboo bridges. Actually they are pretty reliable though people have fallen through them I have been told.

Watch the sun set at the giant white buddha, or anywhere really.

I took an ride to Chiang Rai near the border of Myanmar .

Stopped to stretch and this is what I get to take in.

Border of Myanmar. One giant market.

Walked past the market to see what life might be like in this country. I ate about 3 meals. Hey, eating is a big part of life.

Ate Kao Kha Moo near the famous white temple which I forgot the name of.

Driving the last 3 hour bit of the 3 day journey from Chiang Mai. According to the internet there are more than 2,000 sharp turns in this 3 hour drive.

Look! man on wire! barely noticed this guy way up fixing something with the power lines.

A local market with the hill tribes where you can buy interesting rice, veggies, fruits, herbs. Straight from the farm.
